Spring Cleaning at BizzThemes

We’ve decided to remove the following themes from our theme gallery:

Gongsi
Hosting Pro
Me’gusta
Polar Media
Pure Magazine
Restaurant

Theme sales will continue as well as support, but there will be no new features. In other words, we won’t promote their sales and will only add technical upgrades to comply with the latest WordPress development.

Why spring cleaning?

We want to focus on business themes and really go mobile this year. We also want to expand more into booking area and e-commerce and some themes don’t fit into this category. Restaurant will return into gallery once we develop advanced table booking for it, whereas Me’gusta turned out to be too overwhelming for majority of our customers. Don’t take this as a bad thing since a lot of new stuff will be released soon and a lot better themes as well.

Our current focus: Mobile, Booking, Small Business.

I’ve you have bought any of those, contact us at info@bizzthemes.com and we’ll replace your theme with any other one, listed in our theme gallery.

Car Hire v3 Released

We are very excited to announce the release version 3 of our Car Hire theme. This update puts this vehicle rental WordPress theme ahead of all the competition and offers you everything you need to manage your car fleet better than ever. We basically fixed all known bugs and added most requested features from our customers. In addition to that, we restructured the whole design and made the mobile browsing experience brilliant on all the small screens.

Pricing per hour

Before, you could only set pricing per day, but now, you can also set pricing per hour, which is great if you want to rent smaller vehicles, that are usually rented for couple of hours, rather than couple of days.

Payments via Credit Card

Accept Payments

Now, you can also collect credit card details, when you customer rents your vehicles. This is great if you want to charge extra, when customer returns the vehicle and also works as an insurance, in case something got damaged on return.

Booking Form

In last step of the booking process, you can collect personal information from your customers. Now, you are in control, which form fields are displayed, which are required and which not.

Better Sorting of Vehicles

In second step, where customer has option to choose the vehicle, we put extra sorting filter and removed transmission select box. We also added ability to hide unavailable vehicles to remove the clutter from the screen.

Overall Design Improvements

You’ll notice, there is now a pretty navigation menu, instead of old, squared one. We also added more shading to text boxes and improved the layout to fit the small mobile screens.

2013 will be awesome, especially for developers that are building upon our theme framework. Everything will change steadily and we’re starting by introducing neat features that will make it a lot easier to develop websites using our themes. TimThumb WordPress Fix Issued, Welcome WP Image Editor

TimThumb for WordPress has been with us since we started our business and has served us very well. Not just us, but probably the whole WordPress community that depended on it. At lease until now when we decided to release a TimThumb WordPress fix for our themes.

Website photos would never look so pretty without it. Re-sizing images on the fly was at its peak so cool that premium (paid) themes market opened up and the rest is history. Sadly, its popularity got exploited and hackers braked into websites through its caching system, so we decided to take out for security reasons. Nothing changes for our customers though, since we replaced the script with native WordPress image re-sizing that is now available from version 3.5 onwards.

How to apply TimThumb WordPress fix to your bizz theme?

As usual, simply update your theme using theme update system
Open your website via FTP and manually delete all TimThumb references
Enjoy faster and more secure website
