Car Hire – an Upcoming BizzTheme For Car Rental Agencies

There are some very hot summer days and weeks behind us and we’ve been busy preparing a new BizzTheme. Our next issued theme »Car Hire« is a perfect WordPress theme for car rental agencies. Your web visitors will be able to book a car easily through an intuitive booking wizard. Besides that the web site owners will have a full-fledged car fleet management solution in the back-end to support the booking process.

The process of booking a car can be quite complex – usually a car rental agency has multiple locations, different car types and each car has a multitude of additional options (extras) that can be booked with the car (child seat, navigation device, extra insurance policy, etc.). Normally the daily price is not based on the car only but also on the number of booked days. We were thinking quite a lot on how to make the booking wizard as easy and as intuitive as possible – hopefully we did a good job on that (please let us know if you think that we didn’t).

After selecting the locations and dates a choice of cars is shown. It’s easy to filter the cars by their type or transmission method (manual or automatic transmission):

The web site owner has a full-fledged management solution for the car fleet in the WordPress administration area. He can group cars into car types, set the office locations, define all possible car extras, set the different pricing (based on the booked number of days and the season) and some other options:

We were also thinking about integrating the theme with PayPal to support the automatic invoice generation and payments (to support the entire process), but we’re not so sure about doing that. We’re afraid that most of the car rental agencies have their own software for invoicing and billing and it would double the work in the car rental agency.
