We don’t usually write blog posts about every framework change that happens several times a month, but I felt this one is important. It is more or less a security update that basically prevents any hacks of your website through our theme. Previously, TimThumb was a major security hole, which got fixed immediately. With this update any other similar hack is practically impossible.
What was fixed and improved?
* [fix] remote theme version, correctly showed
* [fix] ‘bizzthemes’ translation strings added
* [improved] changed ‘thumbnail’ naming to ‘featured image’
* [improved] Custom Editor now highlights selected file as regular tabbed navigation bar
* [improved] updated jQuery to 1.8.1
* [improved] more secure code, disabled any attempt to directly access a file
